•Job responsibilities:

 Daily Check list:

 1.Ticket Management:

· Management of Call and Email Ticket Queues.

· Review quality of work (e.g. tickets accuracy, completion of daily checklist, call monitoring,

ticket summaries).

· Overall management of tickets assigned to the NOC (e.g. tickets are prioritized correctly,

worked in a timely manner, etc.). Identify tickets out of SLA, Hard Down etc. and prioritize

them. Identify HOT Items and drive to resolution.

· Post mortem tickets and obtain customer feedback.

2. NOC Operations Management and Troubleshooting:

· Ensure responsive customer-facing support and assistance plus accurate, efficient NOC

troubleshooting

· 24×7 log monitoring with immediate ticketing and customer notification.

· Ensure day to day work tasks are completed on a timely basis

3. Escalations Management:

· Have the technical ability to handle escalations and drive them to resolution.

· Ownership of Repair Escalations

· Have the ability to escalate internally and with Carriers for resolution.

4. Team Management:

· Responsible for management of NOC staff; Tier I, II, and  NOC Technicians

· Ensure full coverage of NOC in a 24/7 environment, under any circumstance

· NOC techs Training.

· Look for ways to improve effectiveness and efficiencies

5. Reporting: The ability to collate data and identify metrics and KPIs to monitor NOC

performance, report it to improve efficiency.

 Core configuration:

1)    Configuration and Maintenance of HUAWEI Soft Switch (Usys-Softx3000), Media Gateway (UMG8900), MUX (OPTIX OSN3500).

2)    Configuration and Maintenance of Dialogic Soft Switch(CS), Media Gateway(I-Gate Pro), and SGB(I-Gate DSG), SBC.

3)    Troubleshoot VOIP and TDM calls related problem.

4)    ANS, IGW, ICX & Upstream/Carrier Provisioning.

5)    SS7 Configuration.

6)    Interconnection with International VOIP & TDM carriers

7)    Interconnection with Local Interconnection Exchange Operators & IGW / ICX & ANS.

8)    Interconnection with IPTSP & ICX.

9)    ISUP signaling analysis

10) SIP signaling analysis with Wire shark.

11) KPI analysis (ACD, ASR, CCR)

12) Fault analysis.

13) Traffic analysis & traffic distribution.

14) Routing analysis.

15) Signaling link status checking.

16) Circuit status checking.

17) Carrier Rate analysis & traffic distribution.

4)    Configuration and maintenance for MSP, SNCP protection.

5)    Perform Troubleshooting for problems found in the Health Check report .

6)    Complete knowledge on Transmission network alarms.

7)    Trained up and knowledge transfer to the NOC engineers.

8)    Provide High level technical support to remote engineers over phone.

Data Communication:

1)    Sound knowledge and practical experience in configuring LAN, VLAN, VTP.

2)    Configuring & troubleshooting Huawei & Cisco Routers, Switches.

3)    Keen knowledge on different routing protocol.

4)    Hands-on experience in  STP, OSPF, BGP,  ACL, VRRP.

5)    Basic knowledge on MPLS.

6)    IP auditing (Adding & removing) in ACL.

• Achievements:

1)    Appointed as NOC in-charge of the unified operation team of Platinum Communications Ltd. (A licensed IGW operator) and Purple Telecom Ltd. (A licensed ICX operator) from 2013 to till now.

2)    Promoted to Sr. Engineer from Engineer on 1st January, 2014.
