Sales & Business Development Manager
1. ORGANIZATION:
Department: Sales Department
Location: Bangladesh, Dhaka
Reporting to: Vice President Asia
2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Sales & Business Development Manager, your functions shall include:

  • Business development towards Goltens’ range of services including identifying and developing business strategies through exhausting opportunities in both local & overseas market.
  • Responsible for maximizing a high level of profit margin and ensure meeting the pre-set sales target.
  • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
  • Provide proactive leadership, ownership and taking responsibility in the customer / sales team environment for discussions on technical solutions proposed by Company in a manner that gains credibility with its clients.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop effective working relationships and understand sales strategy and approach to accounts and opportunities.
  • Provide accurate account information/reports on a regular basis as per the agreed function reporting process.
  • Assist in the development of the organization and Sales teams through sharing specialist skills and knowledge via training and coaching as required.
  • Conduct sales presentations & technical discussion.
  • Perform sales visits and develop new accounts with strategies to increase market shares in Marine, Offshore, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Industry.
  • Perform sales forecasting, contract negotiations and quotations to customers.
  • Develop and execute all strategic sales plans to support company goals and achieving sales performance target.
  • Manage and build relationship with prospects and existing customers.
  • Planned, coordinated and participated for exhibitions in various exhibitions / tradeshows
  • Performed market research surveys amongst client base to seek feedback on sales and service techniques, follow-up methods and quality of after sales service.
  • Any other tasks as and when assigned by management.

 

3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Technical / Professional:

At least Diploma in Engineering ;  At least 5 years working experience in Marine, Power Generation or Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry.

Technological: Competent in Microsoft Office
General: Ability to work well under pressure ; Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently ; Continuous improvement mindset ;  Detailed-oriented ;  Good selling / marketing skills.Have own car or class 3 driving license.
People/Relations: ·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ; People-oriented personality ; Good team player with good attitude, integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
Industrial Knowledge: Marine or Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry
